Ride
route

We will start this 13,000+km cycling journey from Halifax, heading west to Victoria before going north to Yukon and Northwest Territories, before arriving in Edmonton. This is a unique approach to cycling across Canada as most people go from west to east, taking advantage of the prevailing winds. Matt will face a lot of headwinds along the way. Once we head north things will become more unknown as this is less travelled terrain and remote. Matt will be focused on each days ride of 150km-180km, with mountainous topography, big elevation climbs and very likely face every extreme weather condition Canada has to offer. We do however hope to stop and capture some of the beautiful sights of our great country.
